1 In a Microsoft Word file (or similar program), type out a simple invitation with basic information on the family reunion. Begin with the words "Save the Date" displayed at the top of the invitation in large, bold-faced, colorful, underlined letters (basically anything you would like to do to attract and increase interest). Include the location, date and time (with ending time if that is also desired), and how to RSVP. You can also add appealing graphics and pictures to personalize and spruce up the look of the invitations.
2 Print out one letter for each address where you will be sending the invitations. Multiple family members residing at the same address will receive one invitation to share.
3 Add one invitation to each envelope. Seal, address, stamp and mail each envelope.
